Tomas is one of the elder statesmen of Arsène Wenger's squad and is now back in full flow after missing 18 months through injury. The Czech provides guile and valuable experience whenever he gets a game and, despite that lengthy lay-off, appears to have lost none of the craft, cleverness or final-third invention that makes him so easy on the eye.
Tomas scored a rare header last season against Leyton Orient but it's fair to say he doesn't get among the goals as he used to after scoring 13 times in his first two years with the Gunners.
However, his eye for an opening can still break down the most stubborn of defences.
